According to Marca, Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia have reached an astounding agreement on a £172.9 million per year deal.
The 37-year-contract old’s with Manchester United was terminated earlier this month, making him a free agent.
After an explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he made numerous contentious claims, Ronaldo severed his relationship with United.
For the first time in his career, the Portugal captain will now compete outside of Europe.
According to reports, Ronaldo and Al Nassr have reached a two and a half year contract for a staggering £172.9 million annually.
He will play under the agreement until he turns 40.
However, sources in Spain today suggest that the “dizzying sums” have been negotiated. Sources close to the former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar stress that no agreement has been inked and that Ronaldo is still concentrating on the World Cup with his nation.
