Criminality Prevented INEC Server from Operating- Peter Obi
Mr Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has expressed his belief that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) servers did not work during the last presidential election due to the “establishment of criminality.”
Speaking during a visit to Canada as part of his “thank you” tour, Obi highlighted that Amazon, a renowned global company, testified that there were no glitches recorded worldwide on the day of the election.
This statement comes as Obi addresses various issues surrounding the 2023 campaign and general elections, including the controversial IREV servers.
During his address, Obi questioned where the campaign went wrong in the last election, asserting that they did everything correctly.
He emphasized that when attempting to bring about change, one must be prepared to face opposition from those who benefit from the existing system.

Drawing parallels with historical examples such as India, South Africa, and the United States, Obi emphasized that significant changes do not occur overnight but require time and perseverance.
He urged his audience to remain committed to the cause of change, assuring them that any necessary corrections would be made without explicitly mentioning them.
Obi also discussed the issue of the INEC server, linking it to the establishment’s resistance to change.
He claimed that the server did not function because it was intentionally designed that way by the establishment.
However, he emphasized that there were no glitches during the election, citing Amazon’s confirmation of this fact.
To support his claim, Obi mentioned that an Amazon representative was brought in to provide evidence of the absence of glitches.
This statement highlights Obi’s determination to challenge the existing system and his belief in the need for a functional and transparent electoral process.
