On Friday, a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Abuja revoked the bail it had granted to a 34-year-old man posing as a doctor at the Life Plus Medical Centre in Bassa village.
The defendant’s bail was revoked by Chief Magistrate Musa Abdulrazaq after he missed court.
Abdulrazaq said that by neglecting to show up for his trial, the defendant had broken the terms of his bail.

The accused was charged with impersonation, extortion, criminal breach of trust, and cheating when they appeared in court.
In the court-filed First Information Report (FIR), the accused claimed himself as a physician at Bassa village’s Life Plus Medical Centre.
The defendant purported to be an expert in treating infertility, according to the FIR.
Additionally, it was said that he obtained N978,000 from a patient.
