Grace Chalya Silas, a NYSC volunteer, was fatally stabbed in Kaduna State by thugs who are thought to be armed robbers.
The incident occurred early on Thursday morning, according to ASP Mansir Hassan, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, who verified it to OBASANJO NEWS24.
The deceased, according to the PPRO, was exercising in the early morning when some thugs ambushed her with the goal to grab her phone.
She was stabbed by some individuals this morning while performing a body workout along GRA Road in Barnawa, he claimed.

“The suspects on a bike stopped and attempted to steal her phone. She was stabbed by one of the suspects when they were attempting to steal the phone.
She was hurriedly taken to Harmony Hospital by the police after they learned of the situation, where the doctors eventually declared her dead.
The PPRO stated that a thorough inquiry into the incident has been carried out under the direction of CP Musa Yusuf Garba, Commissioner of Police.
He continued by saying that the Command will use all of its resources to guarantee that the offenders were prosecuted.
