Conduct Biafra Referendum instead of destroying Igbo properties – Ejimakor to FG, Lagos govt
A referendum on Biafra should be held, according to Aloy Ejimakor, special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who made this statement on Monday.
“If you want Igbos out of Lagos or Nigeria, stop #demolishing their properties; that’s cowardly,” Ejimakor wrote in a post on X. Have a referendum on Biafra instead, and be ready for the overwhelming outcome. Until then, quit making Nigeria an Igbo prisoner’s open-air grave. Igbos have had it with the pogrom and now.
There have been allegations that the Igbo-populated markets in Lagos State are being targeted and demolished by the government. There are also several claims that the state administration is demolishing Igbo-owned buildings.
Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike was among those impacted. He alleged that the Lagos State government demolished his home even though he had the necessary permission from the appropriate authorities.Big Brother Naija reality programme star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David said she told her mother after she “lost” her virginity.
She added that she gave her mother some advice on how to make coitus more pleasurable for herself and that it was a bittersweet experience.
In the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, which she co-hosted with actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, Doyin said that most parents do not talk to their kids about sex education. She emphasised that because of this, these kids are often misled by strangers.
“I talked to my mother about losing my virginity,” the woman stated. “Mummy, this thing [coitus] did not feel this way,” I said. We also had a discussion. “All right, this is what you should do,” she said. Are condoms used by you?
“Parents must foster an atmosphere where their children feel comfortable opening up to them. I can say anything to my mother. I told my mother I wasn’t enjoying sex for a time. I said to her, “Are you circumcised?” Because it’s said somewhere that having sex after being circumcised makes you less happy. And she responded, “No.” She didn’t give me any grief for it. She gave me advice on what to do.
Therefore, sex education begins at home. It’s important for parents to establish a space where their children feel comfortable talking to them about anything. Either they are speaking to you or they are speaking to someone else at the end of the day.
