Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond, also known as Destalker, a stand-up comedian, has admitted that working as an undertaker helped him learn how to dance.

The 39-year-old claimed that before starting his rib-cracking company, he worked as an undertaker.

While participating in the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, which is co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, alias Nedu, he revealed this.

The Delta-born comic claimed that after leaving school, he worked as a salesman, an undertaker and a commercial motorbike rider, or ‘okada’.

Destalker stated, “As a graduate, I began as an okada [commercial motorcycle operator]. I completed undertaker from okada. In Enugu, I was a sales boy.

“Undertaker mean say you sell coffins?” Nedu inferred.

Destalker refused, saying, “Baba, don’t lower me. I move caskets. Never sell. I want to learn how to dance. I say that because life is a process. And while doing that, make sure you’re having fun because every level has a different demon.

So, as you go through the procedure, focus on the details since you’ll need them tomorrow. People are now saying, “Ah! I really enjoy watching you dance on stage. I picked up dancing by participating in rehearsals. But now I use the dance I developed from my endeavours into my humour.
