Despite facing difficulties, he stands by his decision to support Obi, as he shared during the Easter edition of his comedy show, AY Live, in Lagos.
AY emphasized that his backing of Peter Obi was driven by a desire for positive change in Nigeria, rather than political motives. He highlighted that his lack of political expertise did not deter him from advocating for Obi on social media, even though it resulted in his house being set on fire. AY also cautioned about the power and influence of the government, urging others to be wary and respectful of its authority.
