Comedian AY Claims His House Was Set Ablaze After Supporting Peter Obi’s Campaign

AY, the well-known comedian and filmmaker, expressed that his challenges arose following his endorsement of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate. Despite facing difficulties, he stands by his decision to support Obi, as he shared during the Easter edition of his comedy show, AY Live, in Lagos.

AY emphasized that his backing of Peter Obi was driven by a desire for positive change in Nigeria, rather than political motives. He highlighted that his lack of political expertise did not deter him from advocating for Obi on social media, even though it resulted in his house being set on fire.
