Collins is replaced by Awaziem for the friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique by the Eagles

The injured Jamilu Collins has been replaced in the Super Eagles team for friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique by Boavista defender Chidozie Awaziem.

Awaziem is the third player to receive a last-minute call-up before to the friendlies.

On Sunday night, Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi of Nottingham Forest were replaced by Tyrone Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq.

This season, Awaziem has played a significant role for Boavista.

On Tuesday, the Super Eagles will begin their pregame training.

Saudi Arabia will be the opponent for Jose Peseiro’s team on Friday at Portimao, Portugal.

Three days later is the friendly matchup with Mozambique.
