Gael Clichy, a former defender for Manchester City and Arsenal, has picked the outcome of this weekend’s Premier League match between the two teams.
Sunday’s Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester City will take place at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners enter the contest having defeated Bournemouth by a score of 4-0, while Manchester City suffered a defeat to Wolves.
Clichy, who played for both clubs, made the following prediction for the match: “I do think Manchester City will win the game because they have so much quality and still have Erling Haaland, who makes it difficult to defend against the entire team when he’s so dangerous.
“All Man City needs to do is get the ball in the air to Haaland and he can hurt Arsenal.”
Arsenal will want to prove to the Emirates Stadium crowd that they can compete with Man City, he continued.
I don’t worry about Rodri’s absence from a Manchester City standpoint since that midfield is so talented. The game will be wonderful and quite intense.
