American superstar Chris Brown hails Nigerian singer Wizkid as his “brother for life,” highlighting their enduring friendship and past musical collaborations.
Famous American singer Chris Brown said he will never forget his Nigerian colleague Wizkid.
In a post shared by luthortv, Chris Brown called Wizkid his “brother for life” due to Wizkid’s kindness to him in the past.
Chris Brown revealed the reason behind it, explaining that he has been performing in the US all this time but has not been to the UK until Wizkid invited him to his O2 Arena concert in 2021.

He added that Wizkid paid for the expenses and that he was overwhelmed by the boundless love Wizkid showed him.
“Wizkid invited me to the biggest stage in the UK for 10 years. I’ve performed all over the US but I’d never been to the US for a show before. One day Wiz called me and told me he was getting everything ready for a concert at the O2 Arena. He paid for everything and I was overwhelmed. Wizkid is my brother for life.”
Recall that Brown was deported from the UK in 2009 after pleading guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
In 2010, the British government reportedly cited his conviction as the reason for his refusal to enter the country. This growth affected his ability to perform there for a time.
