Chinese authorities declare repercussions for fan who entered field to embrace Messi

Argentina defeated Australia 2-0 in a recent international friendly played in Beijing. Chinese police have announced a sentence for the 18-year-old fan who entered the field to hug Lionel Messi.

The Chinese supporter received a 12-month stadium ban from the police.

Messi scored in the victory over Australia, according to Obasanjonews24.

Within the first two minutes of the game, the seven-time winner of the Ballon d’Or scored the game’s first goal with an incredible curler from outside the box.

The fan will now be subject to a severe punishment for his activities after he got to meet both Argentina goalie Emiliano Martinez and Lionel Messi.

According to a statement released by the police (via MARCA), “The Chaoyang District Public Security Bureau placed him in administrative detention according to the law, identifying the 18-year-old, surnamed Di, who will not be allowed to enter a stadium for the next 12 months.”
