Chidimma Adetshina to Represent Taraba at Miss Universe Nigeria
Chidimma Adetshina has been chosen to represent Taraba in the upcoming Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
Chidimma Adetshina, a beleaguered Miss South African participant, has now entered the fray for Miss Universe Nigeria as Taraba State’s delegate.
According to OBASANJONEWS, Chidimma was delivered at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in 2001 and her birthplace is Soweto. Her father belongs to the Igbo tribe while her mother has received South African nationality but originally hails from Mozambique.

Due to certain inquiries regarding her nationality, there was a controversy surrounding her involvement in Miss South Africa.
After the controversy that sparked an inquiry by South Africa’s Ministry of Home Affairs, Chidimma withdrew from the competition and then received an offer to compete in Nigeria’s Miss Universe pageant scheduled for 2024.
On Friday, the official website of the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant introduced Chidimma as a contestant for Miss Taraba with number 25. The announcement was made by the organizers themselves.
