During her pageantry journey, Chidimma Adetshina, the beauty queen from Nigeria and South Africa has opened up about the various personal obstacles she faced.
During a recent appearance on the Big Friday Show hosted by Tacha from Big Brother Naija, she revealed her challenges with identity arising from having dual citizenship.
Chidimma explained that her aim is to attain the Miss Universe crown when asked about devoting herself entirely to pageantry.

She expressed, “Although I have had the dream of becoming Miss Universe since 2017, it is something that I started pursuing recently. Having been given the platform and opportunity to strive towards achieving this goal makes me very grateful.”
Chidinma shared her experience on coping with identity crisis and highlighted, “It was a daunting journey, filled with difficulties that were sometimes overwhelming. I found myself questioning ‘Why me?’ as tears streamed down my face at night. However, to overcome the situation, I redirected my focus towards recognizing the potential opportunities for growth presented by these challenges.”
