Chelsea is considering a permanent move for Victor Osimhen, aiming to secure the striker’s long-term future at the club.

Chelsea has renewed their interest in Napoli’s striker Victor Osimhen, but they have specific requirements for any potential transfer to take place. Although the Nigerian player is open to moving to Stamford Bridge, it will only be under permanent terms since a loan option is not feasible.

Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sport Italia reveals that, although talks between Napoli and Chelsea persist regarding Romelu Lukaku’s possible relocation to Italy, the transfer of Osimhen is considered a distinct issue.

The pursuit by the Blues for this remarkable attacker stands alone and is not dependent on any arrangement concerning Lukaku.

To make the transfer happen, Chelsea has to provide a generous proposal that meets both Napoli’s evaluation of Osimhen and his salary requests.

The English team must be willing to invest heavily in order to secure the 25-year-old forward’s expertise.

According to reports, Osimhen is in regular communication with two esteemed Chelsea veterans who are making efforts to persuade him into signing for the club during this transfer season.
