Nigerian football stakeholder Chelle embarks on a European tour to connect with top Super Eagles players ahead of key international fixtures.
Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle and his assistant Hedi Taboubi visited several of their players this week in preparation for the team’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The West African team is set to compete against Rwanda’s Amavubi and Zimbabwe’s Warriors next month.
Chelle and Taboubi attended the Ligue 1 match at Stade de la Beaujoire on Friday night to see winger Moses Simon play for Nantes against Brest.
Simon played for 68 minutes in the match, which concluded with a 2-0 loss for Nantes.
Earlier, the duo had visited players Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi in England.
They plan to visit additional players at their respective locations next week.
The Super Eagles are set to face Rwanda at Kigali’s Amahoro Stadium for a matchday five clash on Friday, March 21.
Four days afterwards, the three-time African champions will host Zimbabwe at Uyo’s Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
