Nollywood veteran Charles Inojie claims that because women socialise with powerful and affluent men, they obtain “additional money” that enables them to command higher salaries than males.
He continued by saying that even women who play supporting roles in films are wealthier than male actors who have played in leading roles in commercially successful films.
The actor made these claims in the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast.

Inojie noted that he periodically receives calls from some of his politician friends asking him to put them in touch with female actors.
The veteran claimed that the women he labelled as “daughters of Jezebel” spend the money accumulated over time from various people to purchase multimillion dollar mansions.
“I spoke about the influx of daughters of Jezebel that came into the industry, and are still coming into the industry,” Inojie stated.
“When you see some of them, you’ll see that they couldn’t even pass an audition.
“They will struggle in sporadic little roles.
“And the next thing you’ll hear is that she just bought a multi-million dollar mansion and a 2025 Range Rover.
“You’ll hear that she just bought her mother an N40 million home.
“And she acquired a N150 million house for herself.
“Then, as a male performer, you started to wonder, ‘What’s going on? After settling with us, are they paying them more? But as you are aware, women have a variety of sources of income.
“For instance, I can tell when some of my political buddies contact me because I know they’re watching African Magic.
“They’ll say, ‘Charles, I’m watching one movie right now. There’s this one chick in particular. Can I have…? That is one of their several sources of income.
Even the actresses are aware that a significant amount will come from individuals who patronise them after seeing the movie, regardless of what the filmmaker pays them now.
“So, by the time a Senator calls here and a member of the House of Representatives calls there.
“One significant corporate executive calls there, and they organise it… One of them will soon purchase a multi-million naira duplex in Lekki.
