Today and tomorrow are the dates for the opening legs of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal matches.

On Tuesday night, Benfica will host Inter Milan, and Manchester City will play Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium.

On Wednesday night, Real Madrid will play Chelsea in the Santiago Bernabeu, and AC Milan will play Napoli at San Siro.

Yet according to Obasanjonews24, this week’s UEFA Champions League last-8 matches might provide some surprise outcomes for the fans.

Inter Milan vs. Benfica:

The game will be played at Estádio da Luz on Tuesday night (old).

Inter Milan drew 1-1 with Salernitana on Friday in the Serie A, while Benfica lost 2-1 to Porto at home last Friday in the Portuguese League.

Three competitive meetings between the two teams have taken place, with Inter defeating Benfica once and drawing the other two.

Benfica presently leads the Portuguese League, and Inter Milan is ranked sixth in the standings in Serie A.

Benfica’s most recent game ended in a loss. But because they’ll be playing in front of their own supporters in Portugal, they may shock the Serie A heavyweights there.

The game will begin at 8 o’clock.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid:

The Santiago Bernabeu will host this Champions League round of 8 match.

Chelsea enters the match having dropped a Premier League match to Wolves by a score of 1-0, while Real Madrid dropped a La Liga match to Villarreal by a score of 3-2 last Saturday.

The Blues are now in 11th place in the Premier League standings, while Carlo Ancelotti’s team is second in La Liga.

The two sides have previously faced off four times. In the Champions League, Chelsea has faced Real Madrid four times and has won three, drawn one, and lost one.

Chelsea might, though, pull off an unexpected victory if they play to a draw or defeat Los Blancos in Spain. The west London team has a perfect record in the Champions League versus the La Liga champions at Santiago Bernabeu. Perhaps the same thing will happen again.

The game will begin at 8 o’clock.
