Chairman of PDP suspended in Ondo due to anti-party activities
The suspension of Mr. Fatai Adams, the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, has been announced by the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party.
The SWC stated that the suspension was due to Adams’ involvement in anti-party activities that violate the party’s rules and regulations.
The announcement was made through a statement signed by nine members of the committee, in accordance with the PDP Constitution. Adams, however, denied the allegations and claimed that he was being targeted by certain individuals within the party due to the upcoming bye-election in Akoko North-East/Akoko North-West Federal Constituency. He asserted that he remains the chairman of the party and criticized the motives behind his suspension.
