The stakeholders accused Agballah of steering the party in the wrong direction, alleging that his leadership was focused on dismantling the party by unjustly suspending founding members of the state, including prominent figures like former Senate president Ken Nnamani, ex-governor Sullivan Chime, and others.

The stakeholders, representing all 17 local government areas of the state, gathered in Enugu for a well-attended unification meeting where they expressed their discontent with Agballah’s handling of the party affairs since taking office.

Despite the vote of no confidence in Agballah, the stakeholders expressed their unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, national chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, and Federal Commissioner Ginika Tor for their dedication to the party’s growth.

The resolutions made during the meeting, which included a voice vote that received unanimous approval, highlighted the stakeholders’ commitment to uniting the party and supporting the leadership that has contributed positively to its development.

The meeting, themed “Uniting the party in support of Tinubu/Shettima renewed Hope Agenda,” served as a platform for participants to reflect on the party’s journey and express their concerns over Agballah’s leadership that has led to the party’s decline.

Commissioner Tor, the convener of the meeting, voiced her disappointment with Agballah’s actions that have negatively impacted the party’s progress.
