“The loss of both lives and property, amounting to billions of naira due to the nationwide protest is extremely regrettable.

The savagery displayed in Kano, Kaduna, Borno,Yobe, and Niger states was uncalled for; particularly since President Bola Tinubu’s administration endeavors toward restructuring Nigeria positively. A collective effort from all is crucial towards making Nigeria great,” he asserted.

The call for peace and dialogue was made by the Commander General, who stressed that President Tinubu is fully dedicated to resolving the concerns expressed by demonstrators.

He repeated that with him at the helm, the NHFSS has been collaborating with official security agencies to uphold law and order while safeguarding people’s lives and assets.

Osatimehin emphasized that Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service has shown respect for lawful authority by refraining from participating in the protests, but rather focusing on supporting formal security agencies in protecting law-abiding citizens’ lives and property.

To this end, he is currently out with his officers monitoring the situation at the seat of government in Abuja.

He added that President Tinubu has good intentions for Nigeria and tirelessly collaborates with his cabinet to achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda, which benefits all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliations. However, he cautioned against exacerbating economic difficulties by setting the country on fire.

All Nigerians were urged by the NHFSS Commander General to unite and work towards restoring the country’s lost glory in critical areas such as economy, security, education, and health.
