President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially concluded the investigation led by Jim Obazee into the operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
According to Obasanjonews.com, Tinubu appointed Obazee as a special investigator to examine the CBN and other related entities.
In a letter dated July 28, 2023, Tinubu expressed his gratitude to Obazee, who previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC), for his dedicated service as the Special Investigator.
Tinubu commended Obazee’s commitment and expertise in handling the complexities of this crucial national task.

With the completion of the assignment and the submission of a comprehensive final report, along with the proper closure of all equipment used during the project by March 31, 2024, the investigation is now officially concluded.
Currently, relevant law enforcement and regulatory agencies are pursuing further actions based on the findings.
