The governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been chastised by a senior member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the hardship the recent cashless policy has caused for Nigerians. The APC leader also revealed what should be put on Emefiele’s grave marker after his passing.

From February 10, the N200, N500, and N1000 notes have been redesigned by the apex bank as part of its cashless programme, gradually replacing the previous notes.

Nationwide chaos had been brought on by the inaccessibility of the newly redesigned notes.

But on Monday, the CBN capitulated to pressure and approved the latest Supreme Court ruling to reissue the old notes.

Former Aviation Minister FFK responded to the news, saying that Emefile’s gravestone should read, “Here lies Godwin the fool who thought he would live forever, who thought power lay in the hands of mere mortals, and who thought money was greater than God.” Emefile had hurt ordinary Nigerians with the policy, according to FFK. I pray that he burns in hell forever.

The CBN governor has been blamed for the party’s veterans’ efforts to win the repatriation of the old notes, the APC chieftain claims.

Finally, Godwin is being made to look bad. He merits nothing but bad. He is unquestionably the most cruel person to ever be granted a position of authority in the history of our country. He is a deranged and violent psychopath.

“His evil knows no bounds, and his malice exceeds all others,” he continued.
