Capture herdsman accused of killing another herder and transporting body on motorcycle in Enugu
A herdsman who allegedly killed another herder and took his livestock in Enugu has been detained and turned over to the Nigerian Police Force.
The event took place on Wednesday in Imama in the state’s Ezeagu local government area, according to a report by SaharaReporters.
According to the suspect, he killed his rival and placed his body in a bag.
According to reports, he had attached the body to a motorcycle and was riding it to the location where he probably meant to dispose of the body when he was stopped and taken into custody by locals.
Later, he was turned up to the Nigeria Police Force’s Ezeagu Division.
Imagine how Fulani people are creating trouble in various Enugu areas in order to attract the Nigerian military to attack Igbo villages, the resident of the community stated in a statement shared with a video of the event on a WhatsApp group for Enugu locals on Wednesday.
“This Fulani man in the police vehicle killed his own Fulani brother, stole his cows, and is now raising the alarm that the Fulani are being massacred by Igbo Biafrans,” he said.
He was observed, apprehended, reported to the police, and given over. In Enugu State, at Ezeagu, this occurrence took place.
No success was had in eliciting a response from the state police leadership.
