The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has emphasized that any candidate opting for an unethical admission process will have to deal with the repercussions, reiterating that all admissions into tertiary institutions must go through the Board.
This statement was made in response to a user’s suggestion for JAMB to streamline the admission regularization process, with the user expressing frustration over the current system that required physical visits to the office for months without progress.

JAMB responded by stating that instead of improving the regularization process, the focus should be on discontinuing the practice altogether, emphasizing that all admissions should follow the proper procedures and any candidate seeking an underhand admission should be prepared to face the consequences.
