Patrick Brown, the Mayor of Brampton, expressed his admiration for the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

During a town hall meeting organized by the Coalition of Nigerian Canadian Interest Groups in Canada, Brown extended his gratitude to President Tinubu for his significant contributions to the development of Lagos State during his tenure as governor.

In a video shared on social media, Brown was seen addressing the enthusiastic audience alongside Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate.

Brown shared his fondness for Nigeria, recounting his visits to the country in 2007 and two years ago, where he fell in love with the nation and its vibrant movie industry, Nollywood.

He emphasized the strong connection and love that the city of Brampton has for Nigeria, highlighting the growing Nigerian-Canadian community and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Graham McGregor, a member of the Provincial Parliament in Brampton North, also acknowledged the importance of fostering an inclusive and welcoming economy for everyone, emphasizing the desire to strengthen the connections with the Nigerian-Canadian community.
