CAF CUP: Rivers United will be hosting Academica do Lobito from Angola in Uyo on Sunday

In the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday, Rivers United will play Academica do Lobito of Angola, according to OBASANJO NEWS24.

The Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo is the planned venue for the Group C matchday one match.

The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. Nigerian time.

The other group match would pit Dreams FC of Ghana against Club Africain of Tunisia.

The two groups’ best teams advance to the quarterfinals.

Last season, Rivers United advanced to the round of eight.
