CAF Awards 2024: Okwuchukwu Makes Final Shortlist for Women’s Young Player of the Year

Nigeria’s rising star Okwuchukwu secures a spot on the final shortlist for the Women’s Young Player of the Year at the CAF Awards 2024, celebrating her stellar performances.

Falconets forward Chiamaka Okwuchukwu has been selected for the final shortlist of the 2024 CAF Women’s Young Player of the Year award.

Okwuchukwu delivered an impressive performance for the Falconets during the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The young talent netted two goals in four matches for Chris Danjuma’s team throughout the tournament.

The Falconets faced elimination at the hands of Japan in the Round of 16.

Okwuchukwu will compete against Egypt’s Habiba Sabry and Morocco’s Doha El Madani for the prestigious award.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16.
