Actress Adunni Ade has been threatened with legal action by Francis Njoku, an Indrive cab driver who was charged with parcel theft.

The driver’s purported unwillingness to deliver the actress’ package after the journey ended was the source of the argument between the two.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Adunni criticized the ride-hailing service, claiming the driver had taken off with her delivery and was not returning her calls.

“@indrive.ng You haven’t responded to my messages for hours. My package is missing; one of your drivers stole it. Before he reached me, he ended the trip and stopped returning calls.

Adunni reported in a follow-up post that Njoku shipped her package following the company’s lock on his profile.

She also submitted images of her chats with her clothes designer, who shipped the package, and Njoku.

The actress posted screenshots of Njoku confronting her for allegedly damaging his name and threatening to file a lawsuit.

“You have denigrated my reputation. I have spoken with my legal counsel, and we will meet in court.” It was not you who asked for the ride. I’ve received a lot of calls from human rights attorneys and activists, and I won’t allow it stay like way. You have to request that Instablog remove the post and offer an unconditional apology.

Adunni Ade responded to the threat by saying, “I don’t lie or cheat my fellow beings. Let us talk about change, and let it begin with you. I have used logistic firms’ ordering, delivery, and service for my whole adult life, and in all that time, I have never come across someone as uncivilized, entitled, haughty, or ill-mannered as Frances Njoku.
