Godswill Akpabio won’t be elected Senate President, according to Daniel Bwala, an advisor to Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate in the just ended February 25 election.
On Monday, Bwala hinted to this in a message on his Twitter account.

The All Progressives Congress, or APC, has Akpabio, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, penciled in to be the senator president, according to DAILY POST.

Senators like Ali Ndume, Orji Uzor Kalu, and Jibrin Barau, among others, are now opposing him.
But according to Bwala, “the cloud gathering against his aspiration is heavy and thick.”

Godswill Akpabio wouldn’t be chosen as Senate President, he said. Hefty and dense clouds are forming in opposition to his goal. It is not driven by religion, but rather by regional rivalries and the desire to exact retribution on all enemies. The majority of the senators that are behind him disagree with him.
