Daniel Bwala, previously an aide to Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has taken on the role of official spokesman for President Bola Tinubu.

Remember that last week, Tinubu surprised Nigerians by appointing Bwala as his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications at the State House.

Bwala, who took office on Monday, mentioned that he was appointed to succeed Ajuri Ngelale following his recent resignation due to health reasons.

The recently appointed spokesperson stated that he will act as the official spokesman for President Bola Tinubu.

Bwala stated that with his appointment and designation, he succeeds Ngelale, who vacated the position in September this year.

Ngelale explained that he needed to be absent in order to address some medical issues concerning his immediate family.
