In a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos, hosted by reality star Tacha, Nigerian singer Slimcase, also known as Oluwafemi Oladapo, expressed his admiration for Burna Boy, stating that despite spending over a decade in the music industry, Burna Boy always sounds fresh and new to him.
Slimcase considers Burna Boy as his number one artist at the moment, emphasizing that he still perceives him as a new artist every day.

Additionally, Slimcase mentioned that he is also enjoying the music of Wizkid Chan, Omah Lay, Wizkid, and Davido, whom he refers to as “Baddest.”
It is worth noting that last year, Davido caused controversy when he grouped Burna Boy with other “new cats” such as Rema, Asake, Fireboy, and Omah Lay.
