Burial of Late Chief of Army Staff, Lagbaja, Begins in Abuja (VIDEO)

The funeral proceedings for the late Chief of Army Staff, Lagbaja, have officially begun in Abuja, with military honors and tributes from across the nation.

The funeral service for Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, the late Chief of Army Staff, has begun at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.

In attendance at the service are Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Tinubu; senior military personnel from both Nigeria and abroad; friends, family members, associates; government officials; and members of the diplomatic corps.

Last Tuesday, Lagbaja passed away at the age of 56 following an undisclosed illness.

On June 19, 2023, President Bola Tinubu appointed him as the Chief of Army Staff.
