Bullion vehicles seen in Tinubu’s home allegedly missed their turn, according to an APC leader.
The bullion vans spotted entering Bola Tinubu’s home in 2019 were not at their original address, according to Ayodele Adewale, the APC’s organising secretary in Lagos.
Social media went viral with images of two bullion vehicles approaching Tinubu’s house hours before the start of the 2019 presidential election.
Many people claimed that the cars held ballots, but there have also been reports that the contents are financial instruments.
According to TheCable, Tinubu claimed that the vans were carrying cash instead of ballots.
Adewale asserted during an appearance on Arise Television on Thursday that Tinubu, the APC’s current presidential nominee, was joking when he claimed that the bullion vehicles were carrying cash.
“I believe that the issue involving the bullion waggon has been resolved. The bullion van didn’t have any money inside, and the one that did arrive missed the correct address, according to him.

“On election day, the bullion waggon didn’t move. On that particular day, I was there. The bullion van arrived despite not knowing the correct address. No one—not Asiwaju—had extended an invitation.
He was joking when he mentioned that money was in the bullion vans. He joked when he stated that. In the same way that Mr. Dangote claimed, when he wanted to confirm and adopt the mentality that he actually has money, he went to cash N1 million, sat and considered it, and then returned it to the bank.
