Sani Shaaban, an in-law of President Muhammadu Buhari, has launched his governorship election campaign on the platform of the African Democratic Party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The former member of the House of Representatives called the current state of Kaduna State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) pitiable while speaking at the campaign rally held at Tashan Yari in the Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. He then pledged to rebuild the state through agricultural revival, youth and women’s empowerment, and above all, reunifying the people.

The Kaduna State ADP Chairman and other speakers hailed the party as a game changer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), even as they urged the electorate to choose Shaaban as a remedy for their issues.

Shaaban assured the people that if elected, their concerns would be addressed, as he expressed frustration with what he sees as Kaduna state’s lack of effective government.

If he was elected, he also promised to change the way agriculture and other parts of the economy work, give young people and women more power, and fight crime.
