As each minister delivers a speech and praises the others, the President is anticipated to formally dissolve the government.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has gathered in the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja to begin its farewell meeting, which will be presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

All 44 ministers and ministers of state are present, including the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, as the President starts by swearing in seven federal commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The FEC, which has had a total of 15 sessions only in 2023, is anticipated to accept the outcomes of its most recent three meetings, which included two exceptional meetings and one normal meeting.

Additionally, Buhari is anticipated to formally disband the cabinet, which would allow for speeches and laudations from each minister.

The permanent secretaries in each ministry are anticipated to take over from the ministers after the formal dissolution of the government.
