Before Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect, takes office, President Muhammadu Buhari and his family have relocated to the Glass House at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, revealed this in a video posted on her official Instagram page after showing Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the new First Lady, around the State House.

Mrs. Buhari escorted Senator Tinubu on a tour of the villa, introducing him to its many rooms and giving him in-depth explanations about the significance and history of each building.

The outgoing president and their spouse spent the transition time living in the Glass House, according to the First Lady.

While announcing that she and her husband had moved into the famous house, Mrs. Buhari advised following administrations to continue the tradition of having the leaving president and his spouse live there until transitions are complete.

“I showed Senator Remi Tinubu, the incoming First Lady, around. She’s seen the main home; right now, we’re in the well-known glass house. For the departing president, Glass House serves as a temporary residence.

“I suggest that the Glass House continue to serve as the departing president’s transitional home. I am currently residing here with my hubby while we speak to you. Only two of us are present, and I believe that should continue to be the norm for both the institution and the home, Aisha said.
