Buhari is scheduled to inaugurate deep sea port and rice mill in Lagos
Buhari is scheduled to open a deep sea port and a rice mill in Lagos in 2023.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign will hold a rally in Bauchi, Bauchi state, on Monday, under the direction of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The demonstration will take place at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in the state’s capital from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. It is scheduled to begin early so that Buhari may travel to Lagos and begin his two-day working visit to the state.
When he arrives, host Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will accompany him to the Lekki Deep Sea Port for the opening of the largest sea port in Sub-Saharan Africa. The recently built 32 metric tonnes per hour Lagos Rice Mill in Imota and the 18.75 km, six lane rigid-pavement Eleko Junction to Epe Expressway will thereafter be opened by him.
The MRS Lubricant facility, the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, and Phase 1 of the Lagos Blue Line Rail Project will all be opened by the president on Tuesday. Additionally, he will be there when the second phase of the train project from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko is signed.
Tinubu: Buhari spearheads APC’s campaign in Bauchi

One of the largest container ships, the CMA-CGM, has berthed at the port ahead of the President commissioning @LekkiPort for commercial operations tomorrow, the NPA announced on its Twitter account @NigerianPorts.
Rallies are being held this week in Abia, Ogun, Benue, Taraba, and Zamfara.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima will continue the remaining legs of the rallies this week in the states of Abia, Ogun, Benue, and Taraba in addition to Abuja, according to the campaign schedule released over the weekend by the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
While the Ogun rally will take place on Wednesday, the Abia rally will take place tomorrow. They would travel to Taraba and Benue States on Thursday. Both the Taraba and Benue rallies will start at 10 a.m.
The campaign train is set to go to Abuja on Friday to participate in Shettima’s inauguration of members’ tractors and the founding of the All Farmers Progressives Association.
Shettima will host a town hall meeting with the Livestock Development Group on the same day.
The final demonstration of the week will take place on Saturday in Gusau, the state capital of Zamfara State.
