Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON) honors were bestowed to Tinubu and Shettima, respectively.

The SGF also indicated that on May 29th, the Inauguration Parade and Swearing-In exercise would begin at Eagle Square at 10:00am, and that a Post Inauguration Luncheon will follow immediately after.
