A united squad made up of the police, military, and vigilante groups had been mobilized, according to the command, to pursue the kidnappers.

Two of the six students from LEA Primary School who were kidnapped on Friday in Alwaza Village in the Doma Local Government Area, according to the Nasarawa State Police Command, have been found.

According to Ramhan Nansel, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who confirmed this to Channels Television on Saturday, the students were saved at around 2:30 p.m. in the state’s Sabon Kwara village, Jenkwe Development Area.

According to him, the operation was successful because of the constant pressure put on the kidnappers by the joint search and rescue squad, which also comprised sister security organizations from the state.

Nansel went on to say that efforts were being made to both catch the bad guys and get the other four students out of the cave without harm.

According to reports, the victims were transferred to a hospital for a medical evaluation and would be given to the chairman of the Doma LGA so they could be reunited with their families.
