BREAKING: Tinubu to Present 2025 Budget on Tuesday

President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2025 national budget to the National Assembly on Tuesday, outlining plans for Nigeria’s economic and developmental agenda.

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to present the 2025 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17.

This information was shared by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a plenary session on Thursday.

Akpabio indicated that the budget presentation will occur in the chamber of the House of Representatives.

Last Tuesday, President Tinubu had previously submitted the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for the years 2025 to 2027 to both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The Senate Committee on Finance, National Planning, and Economic Affairs has been tasked with reviewing the MTEF/FSP documents and is expected to provide a report within one week.
