BREAKING: Tinubu reverses course and orders the withdrawal of 24-year-old Kashim’s nomination to be the chairman of FERMA
On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu unexpectedly ordered the withdrawal of Engr. Imam Kashim Imam’s nomination.
Imam was previously chosen to lead the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency’s (FERMA) board of directors.
Ajuri Ngelale, the president’s media assistant, issued a statement announcing Imam’s immediate departure.
All other FERMA board and senior management team appointments, according to Ajuri, are unaffected by this decision.
Recall that the Federal Government faced criticism for putting Imam, who is thought to be 24 years old, to the FERMA board.
The nomination’s revocation was ordered by the presidency without any justification.
