Breaking: Tinubu finally speaks out about his lack of faith in Gbajabiamila
President Bola Tinubu reiterated his total confidence in Femi Gbajabiamila, his chief of staff, on Monday, October 30.
The ground criteria for attendance were also set by President Tinubu, who spoke just prior to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting that was to begin this week in the State House’s Council Chambers.
The president spoke about issues that he had seen and found concerning, like unauthorised people entering the State House Council Chambers.

“Let me first reiterate to all of you that there are a lot of stories going around about what is happening,” he stated. I’ve informed everyone in this nation that while I’m human, mistakes will inevitably be made and corrected.
“The Almighty God is perfect. My Chief of Staff is someone I completely trust to be honest. The blame lies here, and all campaigns of slander and innuendo should end.
“I’m willing to take responsibility for my mistakes, and we’re working together to combat corruption and uphold the law.”
Meanwhile, the Council gave a minute of silence for a former member of FEC and one-time Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Adamu Fika, who died last week at the age of 90 years.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume; Head of the Federation Civil Service, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan; President Gbajabiamila’s Chief of Staff, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser (NSA), and almost all of the ministers are present at the Council meeting.
