BREAKING: Shock as Nigerian Governor Wife Dies Suddenly in Hospital

The spouse of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, has passed away.

The state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, conveyed the news of the First Lady’s demise in a press release issued early on Friday.

As reported by the commissioner, the First Lady succumbed to her illness at a medical facility on September 26, 2024, while surrounded by her loved ones.

The statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” expressed, “With profound sorrow, we announce the death of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, after a period of illness.

“She departed peacefully at the hospital on September 26, 2024, in the company of her family.”
