The Senate has given permission for President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisors.
Tuesday on the floor of the upper legislative chamber, Senate President Ahmad Lawan read the president’s request.
The 20 special advisers’ identities were kept a secret in the request by the president.
The senate, however, approved the request after reading the letter.
Following Tinubu’s formal inauguration as Nigeria’s 16th president, this has happened.
