BREAKING: Senate Approves Bill to Reinstate ‘Nigeria We Hail Thee’ as National Anthem

The National song Bill 2024, which would have restored the former national song, “Nigeria, we hail thee,” was approved by the Senate on Tuesday.

After swiftly passing both its first and second readings, President Bola Tinubu now has to sign the bill into law.

The law was passed by the House of Representatives on Thursday.
