BREAKING: Screening of Aiyedatiwa’s nominee for deputy governor scheduled by Ondo Assembly on Thursday

The deputy governor candidate, Olayide Owolabi Adelami, will be presented to the Ondo State House of Assembly on Thursday.

At the plenary meeting on Wednesday, Olamide Oladiji, the Speaker of the Ondo Assembly, announced the decision following the reading of a letter from Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Oladiji stated that the governor’s actions were compliant with Federal Republic of Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution as amended, namely Section 191(3) b&c.

“Tomorrow, January 25, 2024, Dr. Adelami, who is from Owo in the Owo Local Government Area of the State, is expected to appear before the House for screening,” he stated.
