BREAKING: Rivers Sole Administrator Arrives Govt House, Meets Security Chiefs

The newly appointed Rivers State sole administrator has arrived at the Government House and is holding crucial talks with security chiefs amid the ongoing political crisis.

Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, has officially arrived to begin his duties.

Ibas arrived at Port Harcourt International Airport around 11:25 AM on Thursday, where he was welcomed by senior government officials and security personnel.

With the State Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, and the Assistant Inspector General of Police for Zone 16 by his side, the newly appointed sole administrator headed straight to Government House in Port Harcourt to begin his official duties.

Ibas has already arrived at the Government House and was given a tour by several government officials.

He is presently attending a private meeting with senior security officers, members of the Federal Government delegation, and state government officials.

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu administered his oath of office.
