The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed victory in the first local government area (LGA) of the ongoing Edo election. Follow the latest updates on the election results.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been proclaimed the winner of the Igueben Local Government Area in Edo State by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This was declared by INEC at the outset of the state’s governorship election results collation process.

The All Progressives Congress, or APC, received 5,907 votes, while the PDP received 8,470 votes, according to the findings.

With 494 votes, the Labour Party, LP, finished a distant third.
