BREAKING: PDP loses in Sokoto guber election as tribunal rules

The All Progressives Congress won the governorship election, according to the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which is based in Jos.

The Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, and its candidate were found to have failed to establish their claims beyond a reasonable doubt by the tribunal.

In an attempt to overturn the APC’s victory against Ahmad Aliyu in the state’s March 18 governorship election, the PDP and its candidate Saidu Umar went before the tribunal.
