The House of Assembly received a list of names designated as Commissioner-nominees, which included the four nominees, for verification and screening.
Omowumi Isaac, Olukayode A. Ajulo, Razaq Obe, Emmanuel Igbassan, Akinwumi Sowore, and Oseni Oyeniyi are a few of the nominations who were sent to the Assembly.
But Obe, Igbasan, Sowore, and Falana are rejoining the cabinet.
Three Special Advisers were also appointed by the governor to the cabinet.
Among them are Special Advisors on Information and Strategy Olugbenga Omole, Gender Affairs and Energy Olamide Falana, and Energy Alabi Johnson.
On Friday in Akure, the state capital, the Chief Press Secretary sent a statement to Governor Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan that included the names of the appointees.
Less than a day had passed since Aiyedatiwa made vague remarks about his intention to reinstate some of the State Executive Council (SEC) members who had been fired.
During the ceremonial induction of Dr. Olayide Adelami as deputy governor on Thursday, the governor announced that a few of the dismissed cabinet members will be making a comeback.
“A few of you will be returning shortly. A few have served. A portion of you are returning, while others are still serving and others are just waiting,” he continued.
More information to come.
